Winnie Karanja is a speaker, a consultant, an entrepreneur, and a creative architect for social change. As CEO and founder of Represented Collective, she is transforming STEM environments and enhancing access, opportunities, and belonging for women and BIPOC.

She is a force and a disrupter shifting paradigms at every level – from institutions to individual mindsets – so that women and BIPoC thrive in existing spaces and forge paths far beyond current systems.

Background

As a Kenyan-American immigrant with a Master of Science in Development Studies from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Education, Winnie draws from a long familial line of ingenuity and fortitude in her work. Her formal training feeds into her diverse and multi-faceted understanding of creating beyond the status quo. She operates from the joy center, harnessing brazen imagination and powerful curiosity to redefine excellence.
