In May 2025, Nakira’s World partnered with RISE Wisconsin to host a vibrant STEM Night. The energy in the room was electric, you could see all the sparks of curiosity light up! Watching kids and family discover the magic of science reminded me exactly why I do this work. From our “Bubble Overload” episode to our hands-on experiment to demonstrate surface tension using milk, food dye, and soap was thrilling. Seeing families explore and learn together was powerful and proof that STEM isn’t just for classrooms; it’s everywhere curiosity thrives. Science is more than just information you read in textbooks, it’s about igniting imagination and showing kids the endless possibilities waiting for them in STEM.
